Maharashtra Krishna Valley Development Corporation is implementing a project of piped distribution network for Palashi Branch Canal, Vadjal Branch Canal, on Man Canal of Urmodi Irrigation Project. It has awarded the contract to The Indian Hume Pipe Company and has signed a has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) for a contract value of Rs. 156.27 crore (excluding GST).
The project involves construction of piped distribution network (PDN) for creation of 11,280 ha irrigation potential with five years operation and maintenance. The project is likely to be completed within 18 months.
