Maharashtra government to set up National Institute of Medicinal plants in Adali

Maharashtra government is planning to set up a National Institute of Medicinal Plants Sindhudurg district. The state government has allotted a 50 acre land in Adali village in Dodamarg taluk in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra. The 50 acre land parcel belongs to the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC).

It will be developed under the Union Ministry of Ayush.
