Excel Industries Ltd is planning to expand its chemical unit in Dhatav in Roha in Raigad district of Maharashtra. The project involves expanding chemical manufacturing capacity from 91,434 TPA (Product: 47905 TPA & By-product: 43529 TPA) to 1,82,229 TPA (Product: 1,06,205 TPA & By-product: 76,024 TPA). After expansion programme the plant will produce Phosphorus trichloride (PCl3), Thio Phosphoryl Chloride (PSCl3) , Phosphorus Pentasulphide (P2S5), Diethyl/Dimethyl Di Thiophosphoric Acid [DTA (E)/(M)] and other chemical products.
