Sudarshan Chemical Industries is planning to expand its chemical unit in Mahad in Raigarh district of Maharashtra.
The project involves expanding production facilities of Alpha Blue from 2,520 tpa to 4,800 tpa, Beta Blue from 2,160 tpa to 6,036 tpa, and MICA Pearl Pigments from 2,136 tpa to 3,000 tpa.
The project cost is estimated at ₹ 4,800 million. The project also involves setting up of a cogeneration power plant of capacity 10.0 MW.
