AP Moller sets up ICD at Pune

AP Moller Maersk Group’s has set up a inland container depot( ICD) which is first environment approved inland container depot at Pune in Maharashtra. The ICD is able to handle hazardous chemicals including radioactive materials and can store 35,000 tonne of chemicals of all types, except explosives and radioactive chemicals, at its facility.

It has a capacity to 60,000 containers a year and has 1,00,000 sq ft of warehouse space, half bonded and half non-bonded. It also has 50,000 sq ft of yard space to store containers.
