Maharashtra Natural Gas to set up infra to supply CNG in Nashik

Maharashtra Natural Gas Ltd (MNGL) is planning to set up the infrastructure to provide CNG to domestic and industrial uses in the district of Nashik in Maharashtra. The company plans to invest ₹ 16,000 million to lay over 108 kms of steel pipes from Jawhar to Nashik via Trimbakeshwar to link gas supply from Dabhol. The company will initially set up 156 CNG stations and later the use of CNG for cooking will take time. Later the district of Dhule will also be covered.

The company has won the bid to supply CNG to three districts of Nashik, Dhule and Sindhudurg in Maharashtra.
