Union Park Chemicals Pvt Ltd is planning to expand its chemical unit in Tarapur in Palghar district of Maharashtra. The project involves expanding manufacturing facilities for speciality chemicals, API and pharma intermediates which will increase total production capacity from 90 tpm to 215 tpm. It will produce 2-Amino 5 Nitro Anisole (Fast Red B Base), 5 Nitro Benzimidazolone among other chemicals and by-products.
Land required for the project is already available under lease.
The project cost is estimated at ₹ 224 million.
