Agasti SSK Ltd is planning to set up a distillery in Agasti Nagar in Akole Tehsil in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. The project involves setting up of molasses based distillery with a production capacity of 30 klpd. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 499 million.
The new production unit will produce rectified spirit, absolute alcohol and extra neutral alcohol. Land required for the project is already available..
